MATERIALS

New Sustainable Masterbatch Line based on PLA, PHB and Recycled PE

In our quest for a more sustainable future, we have developed an innovative masterbatch line based on three environmentally friendly materials: PLA, PHB and recycled PE.

These materials are designed to offer responsible, high-performance solutions for the plastics industry, in line with the growing demands of sustainability and circular economy.

Polylactic Acid
(PLA)
PLA is a polymer derived from renewable resources such as corn starch or sugar cane.

Its main advantage is that it is 100% biodegradable and compostable , making it an excellent choice for applications that require sustainability without compromising functionality.

Advantages of PLA:
- Biodegradable and compostable material.
- Excellent transparency and gloss.
- Suitable for food contact.
Polyhydroxybutyrate
(PHB)
PHB is a biopolymer produced by microorganisms from natural sugars.

It is fully biodegradable, even under marine conditions, and has mechanical properties similar to polypropylene (PP), making it highly versatile.

Advantages of PHB:
- Fully biodegradable, even in the environment.
- Thermal and mechanical resistance comparable to conventional plastics.
- Manufactured from renewable sources.
Recycled PE
(Polyethylene)
Recycled PE is a sustainable alternative that uses recovered plastic materials, helping to reduce the amount of plastic waste in the environment.

This material offers high versatility and performance, ideal for industrial and consumer applications.

Advantages of Recycled PE:
- Reduced environmental impact.
- Retains the properties of virgin polyethylene.
- Compatible with multiple manufacturing processes
